Why this is on the board

GovAI is a London research institute that helps policymakers at governments and AI companies work out how to steer advanced AI in the right direction. The field is young, so a single clear report can help shape how it is thought about later. Whether your project gets picked up is uncertain, but past participants now work at governments, AI companies and think tanks, where they write or use such analyses themselves.
