DC Summer Fellowship (2027)
Centre for the Governance of AI (GovAI)Washington
Why this is on the board
How the US regulates powerful AI is largely decided in Washington by a small group of policymakers, who seek advice from think tanks such as GovAI. Your own research report will probably shift little. The leverage lies mainly in what comes after: previous participants ended up in government, think tanks and AI companies where those decisions are made.
