Why this is on the board
This fund finances projects on AI risks at the stage where a few tens of thousands of euros is the difference between existing and not existing: amounts between 10,000 and 150,000 dollars, too small for most other funders. Whoever assesses which applications go through here helps determine which researchers and fledgling organisations get a starting point at all — and builds the working method by which that will happen in the coming years.
About the role
