The work itself — data infrastructure for a trading firm — does not help with any of the problems on this board; the only leverage lies in the salary, if you give a large share of it to charities whose results have been well researched. That approach is called earning to give (see effectiefaltruisme.nl/begrippenlijst) and only works if you keep up the giving for years, which by no means everyone manages.
