Why this is on the board
The work itself, data integrations for a payments company's warehouse logistics, does not solve an urgent problem. The leverage is in the salary: if you give a fixed share of it each year to charities with strong evidence (earning to give), you pay for work you could not do yourself, but that only works if you actually keep the giving up.
