Software engineering

Why this is on the board

This work does not itself touch an urgent global problem. The leverage is in the salary: a staff engineer at Adyen probably earns well above the average Dutch income, and if you give a substantial share of that each year to charities with strong evidence, you could potentially pay for the work of several people elsewhere. That is called earning to give, and it only works if you actually keep the giving up.

This board is in beta and this is our judgement. If you think we have it wrong, tell us. Give feedback · How we reason about it

About the role

Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft - making us the financial technology platform of choice. At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition.
