The work itself mainly helps your colleagues: you maintain internal systems for Booking.com staff. The leverage is in the salary — if you give a fixed part of it to charities that demonstrably achieve a lot per euro, you will probably contribute more through those donations than through the work itself, but only if you actually give the money away (this is called earning to give).
