How to improve the lives of farmed fish has barely been researched, especially in Africa: very few interventions have ever actually been tested on a fish farm. AWASH shares its results with other organisations and researchers, so the quality of your data from Ghanaian farms helps decide which approaches others go on to adopt and which they leave aside.

About the role
Research is core to AWASH’s work, given how neglected the space is and how few interventions have been thoroughly tested, especially in the African context. Our role is to identify and test them, then share the results with other organisations and researchers in the field. This role is an opportunity to lead this work.
