Why this is on the board
You don't decide where the money goes yourself, but your market analyses and financial models help determine which companies in plant-based and cultivated meat receive investment. In doing so they also determine which alternatives to animal products stand a chance. Whether those alternatives will ever become cheaper than meat is uncertain, and that is exactly why an honest model counts for more than an optimistic story.
