Kangaroo care is a cheap, well-researched method: a premature baby lies skin to skin with a parent day and night. The roll-out in Kano has yet to begin. Your assessments of hospitals and partner organisations help decide where it starts, though this is still four weeks of fieldwork and not a role in which you set the direction yourself.
