Why this is on the board
The work itself, the internal data infrastructure of a trading firm, touches none of the problems on this board. The leverage is in the salary and the profit-sharing bonus: if you give a large share of that to well-researched charities every year, you pay for the work of others who do tackle those problems. That route is called earning to give, and it only works if you actually give the money away.

About the role
