Why this is on the board
You don't run campaigns yourself, but you make sure that more than 80 animal protection organisations in the Open Wing Alliance can run theirs better: with training, a mentoring programme and the systems they run on. Those organisations persuade supermarkets, restaurant chains and producers to stop using eggs from caged hens, and Animal Charity Evaluators, an independent evaluator of animal charities, has recommended The Humane League, which leads the alliance, in every review.
