Why this is on the board
Wilde Ganzen raises around €35 million a year for local initiatives against poverty, and as manager you decide, with a team of fifteen, how that money comes in and whether donors stay. Just one per cent more income means roughly €350,000 a year extra for partners in Africa, Asia and Latin America, though you do not decide which projects that money goes to.

About the role
All over the world there are people who don't wait but take action. People who strengthen their communities, break the cycle of poverty and shape their own future through their own efforts. Wilde Ganzen strengthens those initiatives with knowledge, networks and funding. In 2025 we supported 364 projects and reached 1.3 million people in 54 countries in Latin America, Africa and Asia. The projects are set up by local partners, partly together with Dutch private development organisations.
