GiveDirectly gives money directly to people in extreme poverty and has so far distributed more than 1 billion dollars among over 2 million people. In this role you quickly test small variations against each other, such as when and in what instalments the money arrives. At sums like these a small improvement can reach many people, though leadership decides which results it puts into practice.
