Software engineering

Why this is on the board

At Adyen you build payment software for companies such as Uber and H&M. The role itself doesn't work on an urgent problem, so the leverage lies solely in what you do with your salary: if you consistently give a large share of it to charities that demonstrably achieve a lot ([earning to give](https://effectiefaltruisme.nl/begrippenlijst)), you can sometimes help more people this way than with a job at a charity.

This board is in beta and this is our judgement. If you think we have it wrong, tell us. Give feedback · How we reason about it

About the role

Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft - making us the financial technology platform of choice. At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition.
