Software engineering

Why this is on the board

The work itself is payment software for companies such as Uber and H&M, so the leverage lies not in the task but in the salary. An experienced Java engineer in Amsterdam who earns well and gives a large share of it each year to charities with demonstrable results can help more people this way than in many lower-paid jobs at a charity. That strategy is called earning to give.
