Companies that make protein without animals, for example through fermentation or cultivation, often get stuck not on their technology but on the money to produce at factory scale; in the Netherlands, two companies recently went under because of it. As an analyst you help write the case a public investor with over € 3 billion uses to choose which companies can take that step. You do not decide yourself, but your analysis determines what the deal team has in front of it.
