Head of the Effective Altruism Infrastructure Fund
Centre for Effective Altruism (CEA)Remote
Why this is on the board
This fund does not itself pay for malaria nets or vaccine research. It funds the organisations that steer people and money towards such pressing problems: study groups, career advice and effective giving initiatives. Whoever leads the fund chooses which of these can grow, and that choice carries through into hundreds of careers and donations, even when it turns out to be wrong.
This board is in beta and this is our judgement. If you think we have it wrong, tell us. Give feedback · How we reason about it
