Why this is on the board

The work itself, building trading strategies for a proprietary trading firm, helps no one directly; the only leverage is what you do with the salary. That is called earning to give: if you give, say, a quarter of a €100,000 starting salary to charities recommended by GiveWell, by their estimates you pay for saving a few lives each year, though that depends on whether you keep it up for years.

About the role

Da Vinci is looking for graduate quants to join a highly skilled, collaborative team in solving complex problems. You will play a key role in ensuring our operations perform at the highest level possible, working to achieve our goal of building one of the best proprietary trading firms in the world.
