This work does not itself address a pressing global problem. The leverage lies in the salary, which at a trading firm like Optiver is usually several times what the same role pays elsewhere. Someone who gives a sizeable share of it to charities that demonstrably achieve a lot pays for the work of several people at those organisations. That approach is called earning to give.

About the role
You will establish Corporate Engineering as a new capability inside Optiver's Platform Engineering group and become the single point of accountability for our corporate technology stack. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Platform, you will own the direction, the team, and the operating model.
