Why this is on the board

GiveDirectly gives money directly to people in extreme poverty, an approach several independent evaluators recommend, and is preparing to become an organisation that can grow roughly tenfold. You won't distribute money yourself, but as the first senior talent manager you build the way colleagues in more than twenty countries are onboarded, assessed and taught to lead. Whether that growth succeeds depends partly on this.

About the role

What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need?
