Why this is on the board
In national climate and adaptation plans, countries set out where money and policy will go in the coming years. If plant-based food is in them, that can steer what millions of people eat and how many animals are kept. You don't write those plans yourself, as the ministries decide, but you do determine which proposals, which research and which coalitions are on the table.
