Why this is on the board
Organic livestock farmers must give their animals more space and outdoor access than conventional farms, but those rules are only as strong as the oversight behind them. As the commissioning party for Skal, the organic inspection body, you help decide how that oversight works for every organic farm in the Netherlands. There will probably be more of them, as the government wants organic farmland to grow from 4% in 2021 to 15% in 2030.
