Why this is on the board
Coefficient Giving (formerly Open Philanthropy) gave away around $1 billion last year and wants to double that amount. This role redesigns the systems in which that money travels from donation through budget to payout: how reliable that machinery is determines how quickly and how carefully hundreds of millions reach their destination.
