PhD: new methodologies for RSV infection and immunity (English)
RIVMBilthoven
Why this is on the board
A test method that regulators recognise goes on being used by others for years. In this PhD you work with regulators in the UK and Germany to make a culture model of human airway tissue suitable as a standard test for RSV vaccines, so that labs need to rely less on animal testing — though it is not yet certain that recognition will come.
