Why this is on the board
Kairos runs three-day workshops that steer students towards work in AI safety and biosecurity; over 400 participants so far. This role carries the operational side — venues, admissions, guests, travel — and so determines whether the programme can scale up without losing quality. The leverage isn't in the research itself, but in the people who end up working on it thanks to a weekend like that.
