Kairos runs three-day workshops that steer students towards work in AI safety and biosecurity; more than 400 participants so far. This role carries the operational side — venues, admissions, guests, travel — and so determines whether the programme can scale up without losing quality. The leverage lies not in the research itself but in the people who go on to work on it because of a weekend like this.
