Why this is on the board
Kairos does not run research itself, but builds the routes towards it: over 1,200 people went through programmes such as SPAR and Pathfinder in two years. In this role you set up the systems that let a new pilot project become a lasting programme — so your work partly determines how many people will be working on AI safety later on, not just what you finish yourself.
