Why this is on the board
The Future of Life Institute does not work on a single project but on the rules of the game: open letters, policy work in Brussels and Washington, and grants that determine which research into AI risks happens at all. This is an open application, so you are putting your name forward to a small team of forty people that sits at the table more often than its size would suggest.
About the role
In the past couple of years, The Future of Life Institute has expanded rapidly, from only a small part-time team to a full-time staff of approximately 40 people. We have ambitions to continue growing our team, so we are always on the lookout for talented and proactive people who are aligned with our mission.
