This board is still in beta. The reason below is our judgement — tell us if you think we have it wrong. Give feedback

Why this is on the board

This directorate is new and has yet to decide what it will focus on: whoever leads it first helps choose which questions about AI, algorithms and fundamental rights the government takes seriously in the coming years. There is no separate minister for digital affairs and a small team carries the portfolio, so this director's judgement carries a lot of weight. That also applies in European discussions, where the Netherlands has a say in how AI rules work out in practice.

What do you make of this?

The board is still in beta, so this is exactly the moment to say what you think. A vacancy we have missed, a judgement you do not share, something that does not work — all of it helps.
