Why this is on the board

As Chief Data Officer you write the rules for how two ministries and all their implementing agencies use algorithms and AI, and who oversees that. So you are not working on one system, but on every system that falls under them. Since February 2026 EZK, the economic affairs ministry, has also held responsibility for AI policy, with a small team and no dedicated minister. What works internally here will therefore probably count in how the rest of government applies the AI Act.
