Why this is on the board
An organisational adviser does not write policy, but helps decide how the directorates that do are set up, and such a design carries through for years into every dossier that passes through them. Here that counts for more: since February 2026 EZK, the economic affairs and climate ministry, has also been responsible for digital affairs and AI policy, without a minister of its own for this and with a small team, so the way that work is organised weighs heavily, although the political leadership sets the parameters.

What do you make of this?
The board is still in beta, so this is exactly the moment to say what you think. A vacancy we have missed, a judgement you do not share, something that does not work — all of it helps.
